The climate crisis is fuelling the cost of living crisis.
Coal and gas are causing extreme bushfires, floods and heatwaves, driving up grocery prices and making insurance impossible to afford, all while the companies are paying very little tax.
To avoid the worst of the climate crisis, we must stop burning coal and gas. The technology to transition to a clean, sustainable energy future is available now. And it will lead to lower energy bills and a safer climate for all.
Greedy fossil fuel companies have a stranglehold over politics. While fossil fuel companies pay little or no tax, they donate millions to political parties to buy influence. Politicians continue to allow the opening of fossil fuel projects and create policies that benefit the few, extremely rich over the safety and prosperity of the community.
The government has the power to hold fossil fuel corporations to account. They can make policies that will protect the community from the worst of the climate crisis, and tackle the cost of living crisis at the same time.
We have the power to elect politicians who will champion climate action in the parliament.
That's why we are voting for the climate in 2025. Will you join us?
