Last summer was the hottest on record with debilitating heatwaves and record drought throughout the country, as well as unprecedented flooding in Townsville and raging bushfires across Tasmania.

Taking action on climate change has never been more urgent.

The world’s scientists have told us we must keep global warming to 1.5 degrees to protect our planet and stop the extreme weather and rising sea levels we are already seeing. We need to turn up the heat on our politicians and show them that we want climate action now.

I pledge to #VoteClimate and make climate change the #1 issue of the 2019 federal election.
