Over the past fortnight, thousands of you submitted against the government's fast-track bill, which we know will clear the way for toxic industries to mine, drill and concrete across Aotearoa and our oceans. This will be done with only the tick of approval from a few ministers - and we won’t know this is happening in our own backyards until after the approval has been made.

We’re committed to fighting this bill - and destructive projects who try to use it - every step of the way. Now we are at the oral submissions stage of the bill, where submitters can present their views to the Environment Committee, who canthen suggest amendments to the Bill. 

This training on Tuesday the 14th of May at 7 pm is to help you make your oral submission impactful. This training is for those planning to give oral submissions - either for your first time, or as a refresher of handy tips & tricks! We don't rise to the level of our aspirations - we fall to the level of our training.
