A UN report warns that Asia is heating up twice as fast as anywhere else in the world.
From deadly heatwaves and floods to rising seas and shrinking harvests, the climate crisis is already reshaping life across the continent. And as the world’s most populous region, the stakes here are global.
The hardest hit are the most vulnerable — those who contributed least to the problem. Meanwhile, fossil fuel expansion and false solutions continue to delay real action.
But communities across Asia are not waiting.
They are REImagining what’s possible:
We believe the future of Asia must be built on renewable energy, community power, and international solidarity. As we look ahead to COP30 in Brazil, we raise our voices to say:
Asia is ready. It’s time for institutions and governments to match that readiness.
It’s time to shift financial flows away from harm, and toward the solutions that frontline communities are already building.
