Tell the Chancellor:
Major oil and gas companies – like Shell and BP – are making sickeningly high profits. The rising price of oil that’s making them richer is driving a major cost-of-living crisis. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
6 in 10 people support increasing taxes on oil and gas companies, and the UK Chancellor is considering this in the Autumn budget. He needs to fill a £35 billion gap, and we need to convince him that there’s plenty of public backing for making polluters pay to fill it.
By making polluters pay, we can protect households and communities and fund renewable energy.
Add your name to call for a permanent, stronger tax on oil and gas giants.
