We know that our pressure works. At the start of COP27, the U.S. was reluctant to commit to loss and damage funding – but because of you, they committed to the historic Loss and Damage Fund.
While these are important steps in the right direction, the truth is that they don’t mean anything until we see the $$.
We need to keep the pressure up so these commitments turn into reality. Can you send a message to President Biden today calling on him to keep his climate finance promises?

Dear President Biden,
At COP27, the U.S. doubled its pledge to the Adaptation Fund which was established in 2001 to finance concrete adaptation projects and programs in developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change.
These pledges are an important first step, but they mean nothing if action is not behind them. We want to see the funds.
Please, be the climate leader you promised to be when elected and ensure the U.S gives the full $100 million to the Adaptation Fund and fulfills it commitment to the Loss and Damage Fund.
