Most of that funding comes from our banks - which gives us the power. If we show our banks that funding toxic polluters is toxic to their business, we can stop them funding the climate crisis.

The new IPCC report shows us the climate crisis is here and it’s only going to get worse unless we take bold action. Thankfully, our path forward is actually very clear.
The big fossil fuel companies are to blame. These mass polluters want you to think your actions, like if you recycled that cup or took a flight this year, are what caused it.
That's not true. Over 70% of dangerous emissions come from just a handful of companies - like Shell, ExxonMobil, Total Energies, and BP.
They want you to believe that you’re responsible for climate change so they can carry on profiting from destroying the planet. There is no point asking them to stop, they’ve shown over and over again they don’t care. So we need to make them.
They can’t drill without money. And it’s our banks that are funding them. To stop this funding we need to make any association with fossil fuels so toxic banks realise their future, like ours, depends on keeping fossil fuels in the ground.
