People's Climate Mobilisation

Climate change is a global issue that needs global action - and it starts with GetUp members, on September 21, taking action in their local communities.

In the lead-up to the UN's emergency Climate Change Summit in September, we know our leaders will be listening closely to public sentiment. Let's make sure that news bulletins in the days leading up to the summit are full of everyday citizens supporting strong action to combat climate change, everywhere from Rio to Rockhampton.

Tony Abbott has shown climate action has slipped far off the agenda as a priority for this government. Now is the time to remind them that it's still on our agenda.
