One year ago, Typhoon Haiyan slammed into the Philippines. The storm and its coastal surge left more than 7,000 dead or missing, destroyed more than 1.1 million homes and affected 14 million people.

A year later, the islands are still reeling: more than 15,000 people are living in tent cities. Many are from poverty-stricken areas with very limited access to resources, and are at risk for further damage from typhoons. People in the Philippines are still suffering - you can help.

As part of the Consortium for People's Development, the CDRC assists the most affected, least served and most vulnerable sectors of the population through preparedness and mitigation, emergency relief, and rehabilitation programs. Your donation will support programs such as rebuilding houses and other structures, long-term recovery of infrastructure such as water systems, and sustainable development including reforestation and agriculture support. CDRC has been helping people in the Philippines since 1984.
