We need to raise $20,000 before the end of the financial year to keep powering high-impact climate campaigns that shift power away from fossil fuel corporations and toward equitable climate solutions for our communities.

Our financial year ends on 31 March, and as we reflect on the past year, we are in awe of what we’ve achieved together. At times, climate disasters and political rollbacks left us feeling frustrated, even hopeless. But through it all, we’ve fought harder than ever—taking bold action to demand climate justice and a future beyond fossil fuels.

From taking on coal giant Bathurst Resources and fighting the proposed coal mine expansion in the Denniston Plateau, to working with hundreds of people across the motu as part of our Local Elections Campaign, and continuing to hold the big power companies responsible for high power bills and continued fossil fuel burnings while calling on the Govt to have an Energy Strategy, our movement is making waves. But the fight is far from over.

Fossil fuel companies are ramping up their greed-fueled destruction, and the new government is making it easier for them to wreck our climate. We have to keep the pressure on and increase our efforts on local organising.
