SB 350, the “Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act of 2015” has become a central focus of the climate fight here in California over the last few months. This bill is a strong step toward climate leadership, which is why in recent weeks we’ve seen Big Oil do what it always does -- throw lies at anything that hurts the bottom line to maintain the status quo for as long as possible.

As the California Environmental Justice Alliance put it, “SB 350 advances climate justice and energy equity in California by directly improving air quality and public health in our state’s most polluted communities. SB 350 will allow California to meet its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and establish California as a leader on climate policy.”

SB 350 would be a big step in the right direction, and we need the California State Assembly to vote yes. This is going to be a super close vote. Can you call your Assembly Member now and tell them to vote for SB 350 and against big oil?

Please let them know that you support the bill -- and that you DON'T support amendments that water it down.
