July 16 - 31:
While the legal cases against the Bayou Bridge pipeline continue, we must fight to protect the water and communities whose lives will be forever altered by this project. All pipelines leak, and when they do, we must protect the families and communities left with the destruction.
That’s why we’re calling for an evacuation route for the predominantly African American St. James community, which sits at the tail end of this 163-mile Energy Transfer Partners project.
Add your name if you're ready to take action and support the communities on the ground in South Louisiana.
After you sign up, we’ll send you all the information to take action this week against the banks funding Bayou Bridge, how you can support the water protectors on the ground, and how to join a Rise for Climate, Jobs & Justice action on September 8th.
