No means no: Stop Keystone XL

The Senate will soon be voting on an amendment that would railroad construction of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

This pipeline would transport the world's dirtiest oil across critical drinking water sources and accelerate climate change by helping develop the Alberta tar sands, which NASA's top climate scientist James Hansen says would mean 'essentially game over' for the climate.

This decision comes down to the Senate - if enough Senators stand strong against big oil's pressure, we can keep this pipeline from moving forward. Your calls remind them that they have all the support they need to say no to Keystone XL.

Here's an example of what you can say when you call:

Tar sands oil is a scam— it’s foreign crude destined for foreign markets. We get the spills, and we get the global warming, and the oil industry gets the profits. (We know that you get campaign donations as well, but that’s not an excuse to endanger the planet.)
