In May, the NY DEC rejected the Williams fracked gas pipeline after thousands of New Yorkers spoke up against it. But the Williams company just won't quit.
A new application for the Williams pipeline has been submitted. And the DEC is only accepting comments until July 13.
With such limited time, it's up to all of us to speak out now to protect our communities and climate from the Williams pipeline. New York can't afford a new fracked gas pipeline that will extend our dependence on fossil fuels by decades, pollute local water, and accelerate climate change and disasters like Superstorm Sandy.
