Right now, Congress is working on the 3.5 trillion dollar Build Back Better Act that could fund updates to infrastructure, renewable energy technology, and clean jobs.

But, the bill’s current language doesn’t include any repeals of fossil fuel industry subsidies. Every year, the fossil fuel industry gets tens of billions of our taxpayer dollars from the government, which is money that should be used to fight the climate crisis and protect our communities.

Write to your members of Congress today before the bill is finalized to end fossil fuel subsidies once and for all.
