Our communities are experiencing many crises at once: systemic racism, a deadly global pandemic, an economic recession, and an ever-mounting climate crisis.
There’s so much at stake.
Every move our government makes now will determine if a just recovery from COVID-19 will be a reality, or if our governments will further entrench us in a status quo that’s been taking advantage of our communities for decades.
That’s why, the morning of the Trans Mountain crown corporation annual meeting, we’re sounding the alarm.
At dawn on Tuesday, November 17, we will gather together at Canada Development Investment Corporation Headquarters in Tkaronto (Toronto) to SOUND THE ALARM on climate complacency.
In song and story, with noise makers and light, we’ll shake politicians failing us out of their complacency.
We’ll show our neighbours that in the face of the climate destruction, COVID-19, and the economic crisis, we’re in their corner.
Together, we’ll demand our leaders take decisive and bold action on defunding TMX and investing in a Green New Deal.
