Let's go Burlington - be a part of the national #CanadaOnFire day of Action! Together, we can join other communities across the country in solidarity to call on all federal party leaders to respond with urgency to the climate crisis with the speed and scale that both science and justice demand. Participate in a peaceful, kid-friendly, non-partisan, COVID guideline-abiding rally in front of City Hall on September 8th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Itinerary:
3:30 - 4:00 (Bring or pick up a ready-made sign, and rally for action on climate)
4:00 - 4:30+ (Speakers including Kale Black from BurlingtonGreen and Youth Network members)
4:30 - 5:30 (Rally resumes)
Wear a mask, bring family members, friends, and non-partisan signs and practice social distancing. Local COVID -19 guidelines must be followed at all times.
