Canada is STILL on fire!
We will be gathering outside the CBC in so-called Vancouver for some speeches and a short march!
As we approach this election, Canada is still on fire. Extreme heat early this summer sparked one of the worst wildfire seasons on record. Smoke is covering most of the country while northern communities flood, farmers struggle with drought and rural and Indigenous communities are the hardest hit. And, on August 9th, the world’s top climate scientists dropped the latest IPCC report which confirms that the climate emergency is getting worse faster than predicted. That’s why, we’ve got to get to work and make sure that the climate emergency is a top issue this election.
