In this presentation, Prof. Mackey provides an update on climate change science, discusses some of the major current and project impacts of concern, and reviews the level of mitigation ambition now required. Prof Brendan Mackey is director of the Climate Change Response Program at Griffith University, Queensland. He is a Coordinating Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th Assessment Report currently underway." This forum will give us a chance to come together with people in our community, share the urgency of climate change, our hope for a more just future, and discuss ways to empower local people to act now for a safe climate. Join us for an evening of climate discussion and help Toowoomba act NOW for a safe climate.
