Sunday, September 21, 4:00 PM Old City Hall60 Carden StGuelph, Canada
Guelph will join with people around the world as we take steps to address climate change - thousands are headed to New York City and Guelph is doing its part.
In September, world leaders are headed to New York City for a UN summit on the climate crisis. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is urging governments to support an ambitious global agreement to dramatically reduce global warming pollution.
With our future on the line and the whole world watching, we’ll take a stand to bend the course of history. We’ll gather in support of a world we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for people and the planet; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.
To change everything, we need everyone on board. Join Guelph on Sunday, September 21. We are meeting in front of Old City Hall - across from Planet Bean. We have some music, poetry and speakers lined up.Invited Guests
