Climate Change -- Global Warming -- is the single greatest threat to human civilization as we know it. It is also shaping up to be one of the gravest injustices ever perpetrated.
We are its cause, and we are already feeling its effects. Yet the most vulnerable people are those least responsible for it, including people who cannot afford to adapt to climate chaos, and generations yet unborn.
For years we have known of this problem, and known how to solve it. Yet our leaders have not been up to the task. But it's not too late to force their hands! If the people lead, the leaders will follow. We must act now with greater force and power than we knew we could muster.
A Kentuckiana contingent will head to New York for the main event; others will converge right here in downtown Louisville for food, music, and action. Up-to-date information on local arrangements and buses to NYC is on our Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/854907381204732/).
