Geelong Sustainability in association with GetUp and 350 are hosting this People Climate Mobilisation event - Geelong Wants Climate Action: People’s Climate March

Come together with Geelong residents concerned about climate change and make some noise with us. The event includes speakers, musicians and a march along the waterfront.

In September, heads of state are going to New York City for a historic summit on climate change. With our future on the line, citizens around the world will be taking action to show their support for genuine action on climate change.

New York will host what has been described as the "largest climate march in history", the People's Climate March, supported by widespread global events. Being in Geelong we will hold one of the earliest events, and kickstart the momentum.
