May 18th, MP Don Davies held a climate change consultation for his riding Vancouver-Kingsway at The Grind Cafe on Main Street. So many people RSVPd that participants began to ask MP Davies to find a larger venue for the consultation. When this did not occur, People's Climate Plan organizers held a shoulder event to ensure everyone's voice was heard.

Dozens of people packed both events and made their message clear: real climate action means keep fossil fuels in the ground, build a 100% renewable energy economy by 2050, and enshrine justice for Indigneous communities and workers.
