Monday, November 21, 6:00 PM Prime Minister's Office, Corner of Wellington and Elgin80 Wellington StreetOttawa, K1A 0A2, Canada
We will stand together in Ottawa against the Kinder Morgan tar sands pipeline.
Justin Trudeau is set to make a decision any day now on the Kinder Morgan pipeline. On November 21st communities across Canada will be holding vigils that call for climate action and stand in soldiarity with Indigenous communities along the pipeline. We have to send a clear, national message to the Prime Minister that the pipeline would be devastating for the climate and Indigenous rights. As a community that is faced with the proposed Energy East pipeline, we stand with those that would be affected by Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline.
