Climate Justice Saskatoon invites you and yours to attend our Day of Action for a Just Transition Panel Discussion on Saturday, March 12th at St. Paul's United Church! Speakers will include: Ana Geurra Marin, National Chapter Director of Iron and Earth; Guy Lonechild, President and CEO of First Nations Power Authority; Brahm Enslin, Prairie Region Campaign Coordinator with Canadian Union of Postal Workers; and Jamie Kirkpatrick, Program Manager at Blue Green Canada! Time is ticking to avoid more than 1.5 degrees of global warming. We need to pass bold legislation now that accelerates the transition to 100% renewable energy while creating millions of good, green jobs. Our panel will explore what this will look like for workers and what we can each do to make it happen. Together we can achieve a big, bold just transition that leaves no workers or communities behind! 🌏 TIME: The panel discussion will be from 1:30-3 PM. LOCATION: This will be an in-person event at St. Paul's United Church, 454 Egbert Ave, Saskatoon, S7N 1X3. A recording of the event will be available afterwards. **We are asking those who join us to please mask, please get vaccinated, and please stay home if you're feeling unwell.
