Global Action Strike Out Day - Lima

As you drive past San Silvestre School you will see students starting the day with a Green Travel Day - actually Walking the Walk - literally!!! Our girls are choosing non-fossil fueled alternatives to get them to school on this day. On the footpaths, our seniors will be holding a Silent Picket with placards expressing their hope for the future - for the whole community to see. We will have a massive message on our school wall - ´No hay otro planeta cuidemos este!!!´ Our students will also be sharing a Feast for peace Eco Picnic where they will share sustainable and healthy local food - waste free and single use plastic free. We are not striking - we are striking out with messages and actions that hopefully will reach our students, parents and community. We are choosing an alternative way to protest.
