#ClimateStrike in Medway

Join us on Friday 20th September between 9am and 4pm as Students & Workers worldwide combine forces and demand immediate action against climate change. Medway has been identified for development on a scale that is both unwanted and not needed. Central government has specified that Medway Council must allow the building of 30,000 new homes by 2035! Now that both central and local government have finally declared a Climate Emergency we are demanding that such excessive growth be drastically reduced! Protest Location: at the junction of the A2 and Woodlands Road on the publicly accessible green space.
