Join us this September, as millions of us walk out of our homes and workplaces to join young people in the streets for the biggest global climate strike yet.
Our house is on fire. The climate crisis is an emergency but we’re not acting like it. Invite your colleagues, friends, family, clubs, and community. We need everyone.
#ClimateStrike is an international movement of students who take time off from class to participate in demonstrations to demand action to prevent further global warming and climate change. Publicity and widespread organising began after Swedish schoolgirl, Greta Thunberg, staged a protest in August 2018 outside the Swedish Riksdag (parliament), holding a sign that read "School strike for the climate".
20-27th September 2019 is marked as Global Climate Week to urge global leaders joining the UN General Assembly to commit to urgent and immediate action to stop climate catastrophe.
Young people all across the country are joining the climate strike to urge the global leaders to take climate action. All the people will raise their voice for the demands.
