Please join us for the performance of The National Anthems of the World by Sanne Vaassen, followed by a panel discussion with Amy Cutler, Kristina Pulejkova, Rob Kesseler, Lewis Davidson and Sanne Vaassen, chaired by Stacie McCormick.
The performance starts at 7pm.
To create The National Anthems of the World, artist Sanne Vaassen fed a book containing the scores and lyrics for the national anthems of 198 countries to a group of snails. Nature's intervention, creating a One-World Anthem. Please join us to hear pianist Pim Müller perform this incredible collaboration with snails.
The performance will act as an introduction to a panel discussion with Amy Cutler, Kristina Pulejkova, Rob Kesseler, Lewis Davidson and Sanne Vaassen, chaired by Stacie McCormick. The group will discuss the curatorial theme of Adjacent Directly, the works in the show and the intentional conjunction with the Global Climate Strike Week.
