Adults love to tell us we have our whole future ahead of us. But do we? The climate is deteriorating at an alarming rate, but our politicians aren’t acting quickly enough. So we act.
On September 27th, we are striking from school to make our voices heard. We want those in power to act RIGHT NOW so we may have a future.
[Our demands]
1. Stop all new coal projects by 2020
2. Transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050
3. Act now to achieve net zero by 2050.
