On Friday 20th September, millions of people around the world will be striking to demand our governments take urgent action on climate change. Please join us in Aviemore to show your support, and encourage family, friends and colleagues to come along too!
Creative banner making drop in workshop at The Hub from 9.30 to 11.30am to make a banner, large or small. We’ll leave the Hub at 11.30 for a mini-rally and big group photo until around 12.30. If you can only join us for a short period of time please join us at 11.30am at The Hub.
Our suggested theme for banners is ‘For the love of...’ – what do you love about this world which is the reason why you’re calling on politicians to protect it from climate breakdown. Is it your family, animals in danger of extinction, or the peaceful feeling of being out in nature? We’ll have paint, brushes and other banner making materials at the Hub, but please feel free to bring materials along with you if you have some – particularly cardboard to make your banner. And if you can’t join us for the banner making session you could always make one at home and bring it with you, on any relevant theme.
For the mini-rally please bring along any musical instruments or things to make a loud noise.
