Join us on September 25 for a day of learning, community and art-making! Together we will create placards that express the range of feelings, desires and demands that arise in response to the human-made, environmental crisis that is gripping our world.
WHAT WILL THE WORKSHOP INVOLVE?
The day will begin with a chance to meet, play and connect with each other. We’ll then move into an interactive session, using story and enactment to better understand how human activity is impacting the larger web of life. The remainder of the day will focus on art-making. Each of us will use paint, paper, card and other materials to create earth-shaped placards that communicate and express the feelings, desires and demands that arise within us in response to the environmental crisis. The final placards will be exhibited on the walls of Dawar Arts.
