Join us this September 20th as the climate strike movement returns to the Cowichan Valley! This time we're asking adults to join young people in the streets for the Global Climate Strike to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels and climate justice for everyone. We'll gather at Duncan City Square at noon Sept 20th to begin our day of action with spectacular speeches, powerful poetry and moving music (or come at 11:30 to make signs), and then march to the Cowichan Valley Regional District offices to demand local climate action. Back at City Square we'll have Social Change Theatre and a celebration of solidarity and community.
The youth of Earth Guardians and the climate strike movement are counting on you on September 20th to join us and millions of others walking out of our homes and workplaces around the world to join young people in the streets for the biggest global climate strike yet. Our house is on fire. We are in a climate emergency. Let's act like it. Invite your colleagues, friends, family, clubs, churches, unions and community. We need everyone.
