Aged 16-25 and want your voice heard about the climate emergency?
Join Crafts Council's Young Craft Citizens on Friday evening for a craftivist stitch-in as we create a giant upcycled banner to show our solidarity with the climate strikes.
Designed by members of the group, the banner will express our concerns about the climate crisis and encourage those in power to take it seriously. When it is finished, we will donate it to Climate Strike for use on their marches.
Even if you aren't handy with a needle and thread, YCC members will help you learn how stitch the banner together - and we'll also need pinners, cutters outers, and people with a decent playlist, so there's a job for everyone!
