We are campaigning to #DivestNY from Fossil Fuels! The Fossil Fuel Divestment Act would compel the state comptroller to divest the $170 billion NY state pension funds from fossil fuels. It is being considered in the New York State Assembly and Senate. The state pension fund invests more than $10 billion in fossil fuel companies, fueling climate change destruction like Superstorm Sandy that devastated New York state and caused over $65 billion in damages.

Join us in Albany to lobby your legislators and legislative leadership to stop this investment in dangerous fossil fuels. Training will be provided to those new to lobbying. A public rally and media conference may take place - details to come.
