** Meet 11am at Golden Square, W1R 3AD (nearest tube Piccadilly Circus) and we'll go to the branch together **
While Barclays hopes to turn a pretty profit by investing in fracking, it’s the rest of us who’ll pay the price; from communities like Ryedale whose homes are being fracked, to those around the world who’ve done least to cause the problem but are at the sharp end of climate impacts.
On Saturday 29th October, as part of a Week of Action to Stop Barclays Fracking, we’ll be visiting a central London Barclays Branch to bring the impacts of fracking home.
Expect Yorkshire Tea and biscuits, sofas and sing-alongs as we move into a central London Barclays branch for an extra special housewarming.
We’ll have special guests from Ryedale to talk about what fracking means for them, leaflets to give to the public and letters to the bank manager.
The demonstration will be peaceful and creative, but with a clear message that funding fracking is absolutely unacceptable and has to stop. Because if you frack our homes, Barclays, we’ll frack yours...
We’ll meet at 11am at a location nearby, and travel together to the designated branch.

This action is being organised by Frack Off London and Divest London in collaboration with Frack Free Ryedale. We hope to bring home the impacts of fracking to Barclays and tell them to stop funding fracking.
