On Sunday November 27th, 2011 at least ten people died in record floods in a township right outside of Durban, South Africa, called KwaMashu.

This was on the eve of the 17th annual UN Climate Negotiations, where world governments would meet to discuss what to do in the face of climate change. These floods are a tragic reminder of why we need climate action now.

Please donate using the form on the right -- all donations will go to support The Gift of the Givers Foundation, the largest disaster relief organisation of African origin on the African continent. They are on the ground providing direct relief to flood vicims.
