We did it. 1 million+ comments to stop the pipeline.

The comment period is now closed, but we hit our goal -- thank you to everyone who sent a message, shared and organized to flood the State Dept. with comments. Let's keep rolling!

President Obama's job is to decide whether Keystone XL is in the US national interest. TransCanada has made the case that it's not: in filings to the State Department and contracts with refiners, they've spelled out their plans to pad their profit margins with exports, leaving us all the risks.

They want this oil exported because they can charge more on the international market, putting more money in the pockets of big oil and accelerating tar sands development in Canada. That's the definition of reckless.

Can you submit a comment to State explaining the energy security case for stopping the pipeline?
