To support action on global warming, our march will leave Reid Campus Center at about 1:30 and arrive at the bandstand at Pioneer Park at 2:00 p.m.  There will be brief speeches from a Whitman professor, a top lawyer from Earthjustice, and other community and campus climate activists. 

Local musicians will perform after the speakers, and speakers will be availble to answer questions and gather testimonials. This event is organized by the Whitman College Campus Climate Challenge, the Walla Walla & Tri-Cities chapters of the Citizens Climate Lobby, and other local climate activists. 

All ages welcome, bring signs, bring your questions and bring your heartfelt commitment to the future of our children and grandchildren.
