The Milton Rooms
Malton, United Kingdom
You'll be able to see the location and contact the event host after you RSVP.
PUBLIC TALK The government are proposing changes that would effectively exempt fracking companies from the need for planning permission to explore for shale gas. However, according to a Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee report from July 2018: “Shale gas development of any type should not be classed as a permitted development. Given the contentious nature of fracking, local communities should be able to have a say in whether this typeof development takes place, particularly as concerns about the construction, locations and cumulative impact of drill pads are yet to be assuaged by the Government."
