Join us this Monday, November 21 in a candlelight vigil supporting our British Columbian friends and family fighting against #KinderMorgan.
It is times like these that even though it might not be in our physical backyard, that sort of thinking needs to stop. We are all connected. If you follow the waterways, they all connect, and so, knowing that each of us, are connected, helps to reinforce the importance of standing together against imperial corporations. #UnitedAgainstPipelines
The bottom line: Kinder Morgan is greedy. Tarsands need to stay in the ground.
Our facebook event link is live and we welcome new volunteers, new ideas and collaborations all the time.
Please join us!

This pipeline will be transporting tar sands oil from just outside Edmonton, Alberta, to Burnaby, British Columbia. Already, there is an established pipeline that runs the same distance, however they want to expand the pipeline, as a twin pipeline.
The current pipeline already transports 300,000 barrels of bitumen daily, the expansion proposes an increase of 890,000 barrels a day.
People across the country are uniting on Monday, November 21, with a ceremonious display of candlelight vigil. We request that you bring your own candle, either flame-lit and protected (in a jar) or electronic - as it is difficult to provide supplies for numbers we don't have confirmation on.
