Host a #BoldAction Viewing Party

The past year has seen a new energy to take on climate change across Canada. Divestment campaigns have taken off on campuses across Canada and around the world. Hundreds of organized rallies and events have been organized to defend our climate and communities. Thousands of people have rallied to support First Nations legal challenges and frontline organizing and now it’s time to ask – what comes next?

Compelling reasons for stepping up to the climate challenge - ecological, moral, global, scientific - are everywhere, but if we're serious about stopping pipelines, ending our investments in fossil fuels and standing with First Nations leading the fight against tar sands - then we need to start talking about taking #BoldAction.  

Join us on June 10th for a livestreamed conversation about the climate movement getting bigger and bolder in Canada. Featuring: 

- Reverend Lennox Yearwood, Hip Hop Caucus 

- Heather Milton-Lightening, Indigenous Tar Sands Campaign 

- Sean Devlin, Sh*tHarperDid/the Yes Lab 

+ Local Organizers and Divestment leaders 

The livestream will start at 7:00 p.m. PST on June 10th. If this is too late to hold a live event in your town, we'll also post the video online so you can organize an event on June 11th!
